The JMHS Mystics dance team invites you into a fearless Afrofuturist journey inspired by Janelle Monáe’s first four albums. 

Our production of Little Shop of Horrors opens on May 15. Join us for a very special sneak preview event on the evening of April 8th. We will introduce our incredible cast, perform a few musical numbers, and take an inside look at the origins of Little Shop of Horrors. We are thrilled to have Leilani Jones Wilmore (current Lineage Board member) presenting as well. She originated the role of Chiffon in the very first production and will share stories of that remarkable time with us. As with any Lineage event, there will be bubbly beverages to help celebrate. We are excited about this show and can't wait for you to see what we are cooking up. We also hope you will consider a donation to help underwrite the expense of putting this show together — building an Audrey 2 is fun but she is a little needy!

We close the season with Little Shop of Horrors—a quirky and heartfelt sci-fi musical about a timid florist’s assistant and the plant that changes everything. In true Lineage style, dance will breathe a new life into this classic story.
