Step into the Kit Kat Klub as the award-winning musical Cabaret comes to the Lineage Performing Arts Center January 9th through the 20th, with a live band and incredible performers.

Party in 1930s Berlin as mystery and intrigue give way to a shocking turn, and a legendary ending.

Celebrate queer community, resistance, solidarity, and joy at this powerful evening of live music, spoken word, and visual art by queer youth from throughout LA County!

Foothills Dancemakers
February 10th and 11th, 2024

 

Foothills Dancemakers was founded in 2019 as a vibrant consortium of modern dance companies in the shadow of the San Gabriel Mountains. This show will feature performances by Benita Bike's DanceArt, Pennington Dance Group, Nancy Evans Dance Theatre, and Lineage Dance. In between pieces, company directors will speak briefly about each dance and its origins.

 

The goal of the Foothills Dancemakers is to work together to support and bring visibility to concert modern dance in the foothills of the San Gabriel and San Fernando Valleys. The directors of the four companies - Benita Bike, John Pennington, Nancy Evans Doede, and Hilary Thomas - represent 130 years of combined experience producing dance work for the stage. Through this collaboration, the Foothills Dancemakers hopes to promote a variety of invigorating dance activities serving its community and encourage joint projects by area dancemakers.

Kahaani: Journals of a Dancer
February 23rd - 24th, 2024
March 28th - 29th, 2024

 

The Lineage Performing Arts Center and the John Muir High School Mystics Dance Team presents Kahaani: Journals of a Dancer.

 

This performance is choreographed and written by Lineage's Lead Teaching Artist Angie Vaughn, featuring the Mystics Dance Team and dancer Brittany Daniels from the Lineage Dance Company.
