What type of projection equipment is available (e.g., 4K, HD, DCP)?

The projector is a ViewSonic PX748-4K 4000-lumen XPR 4K DLP Projector.

What will we need to screen the film? Ie is there any special equipment other than a computer.

The playback device connects to the projector via an HDMI cable. Lineage has adapters for HDMI --> USB-C and HDMI --> Mini-Port (old MacBooks), other adapters would need to be provided by the renter.

Is the projector compatible with the format of your film?

The file would need to be in .MP4 or .MOV file format to be compatible with the system.

What type of sound system is installed (e.g., surround sound, stereo)?

We currently have four speakers installed - two are on-stage monitors, and two are house mains. Each speaker is assigned to a separate channel on the sound board, and can be controlled independently.

Can you perform a technical rehearsal to test the projection and sound?

What is the size and aspect ratio of the screen?

The screen is 56" x 96".

Not with the screen itself, but the projector has brightness/contrast settings.

Excellent - there are no obstructed seats in the theater.

Yes, the file must be in either .MP4 or .MOV format to be compatible.

Can you bring and use your own playback equipment if necessary?

Yes, if they do not hire a Lineage technician, they will need to bring their own playback equipment.

Lighting and Environment

How is the lighting controlled in the screening area?

If they're hiring a technician, the technician will control the lighting and can set up a basic stage wash before/after the screening. If they're not hiring a Lineage tech, then they have access to the overhead work lights, which are controlled by the fader on the wall nearest to the theater entrance doors.
