Featuring Lineage's Dance for Joy students, teenagers, professional performers, and community members side-by-side, A Chorus Lineage: Muppet Edition celebrates the beautiful randomness of human connection at any age. This funny, touching, and deeply personal production reminds us that nobody has to become less themselves to belong.

Join Lineage for a one-day exploration of death, grief, legacy, creativity, and end-of-life planning. Through performances, workshops, stories, conversations, and practical tools, participants will explore how preparing for death can help us live more fully.

Step into a living timeline of musical theatre at the historic Gamble House, as Lineage Performing Arts Center presents an immersive celebration of song, dance, and storytelling in the context of its era.

Every theater has its ghost stories. The tradition of leaving a single ghost light glowing onstage after the audience has gone home has long been said to welcome the spirits who still linger in the theater—and to remind us that every stage holds the memories of the artists who have come before. Inspired by this timeless theatrical tradition, Ghost Light invites audiences into an enchanting evening where the mysterious, the magical, and the delightfully spooky come to life through music, dance, and storytelling. From haunting melodies and playful Halloween favorites to chilling tales and unforgettable characters, this performance celebrates the wonder of the season with Lineage’s signature blend of artistry and heart.

In January 2025, the Eaton Fire forever changed thousands of lives across Altadena, Pasadena, and the surrounding communities. After the Fire is Lineage’s response—not simply as a performance, but as a community act of healing. On August 15 and September 12 (10:00-12:00), we will host two free creative workshops where community members are invited to share stories, movement, music, artwork, writing, photographs, and memories inspired by their experiences. Together with professional artists, composers, writers, and musicians—many of whom were themselves directly impacted by the Eaton Fire—these voices will become the foundation of an original multidisciplinary performance that honors loss, celebrates resilience, and reminds us of the extraordinary strength found in community.

30 Below is an original, interdisciplinary performance work that brings together theater, dance, and music to explore mental health through the lens of reflection, memory, and growth. Centered on a group of individuals in their early thirties looking back on their teenage years, the show illuminates the often invisible struggles of adolescence - anxiety, disordered eating, identity, grief, and the quiet, persistent feeling of not belonging - and traces how those experiences evolve over time.
